Responsibilities
- Assist in Design & Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to write, test, and debug code for web and mobile applications.
- Agile Participation: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Code Review: Review existing codebases to identify bugs and suggest improvements for system efficiency.
- Documentation: Help maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and user manuals.
- Testing & QA: Participate in the testing process to ensure software quality and functionality across different environments.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), version control (e.g., Git), and basic database concepts (SQL).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week during the Summer or Fall semester.
