Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy microservices using Go and Python on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for high-traffic APIs
- Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews using GitLab CI/CD
- Debug production issues using distributed tracing tools (Datadog/New Relic)
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal documentation
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms (Python/Java)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web development frameworks
- Familiarity with Linux command line and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
- Portfolio demonstrating personal projects or open-source contributions
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
