Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and senior developers to define and implement new features.
- Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, following best practices and coding standards.
- Testing: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging existing codebases.
- Code Reviews: Review code contributed by other team members to ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, and user guides to support development and deployment processes.
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing insights with the team during regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one backend language (Python, Java, C++, Go).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and IDEs such as VS Code or IntelliJ.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems in a structured manner.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship (Summer or Fall).
