About The Role:
As an Intern, you will be integrated into our development squads, contributing to real-world software applications. This is not just a shadowing role; you will own features and solve real problems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate technical requirements into functional solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues, optimizing performance and user experience.
- Engage in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies to track progress and coordinate with the team.
- Conduct research and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly.
- Must be available to start in the Summer or Fall 2024.
