Responsibilities
- Assist in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using industry-standard languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing to ensure software quality and stability.
- Research emerging technologies and tools to recommend innovative solutions for existing technical challenges.
- Document technical architecture and processes to facilitate team onboarding and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Basic understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose logical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Available to start the internship in Summer or Fall 2024.
