Responsibilities
- Assist in the Design and Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test software components.
- Code Review Participation: Review code written by peers to ensure best practices, security, and performance standards are met.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation and user manuals for developed features.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 15-20 hours per week during the semester.
