Apex Innovations is seeking talented and motivated college students to join our team as Software Engineering Interns in Fresno, CA. This is a part-time position that offers the unique opportunity to earn college credit while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, contributing to the development of scalable software solutions. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to learn from the best.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern programming languages.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal application performance.
- Document technical requirements, processes, and code changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define feature requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship program.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work a part-time schedule (20-30 hours per week) during the academic semester.
