Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases and assist in identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Document technical specifications, APIs, and code changes to maintain clear project knowledge.
- Assist in the creation of user stories and technical requirements based on business needs.
- Engage in cross-functional team meetings to provide technical insights and support.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the Summer or Fall 2024 semester.
- Work Ethic: A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
