Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, JavaScript, or Go under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Testing: Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and API specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshooting: Debug complex issues in production and staging environments, proposing scalable solutions.
- Innovation: Research new technologies and propose improvements to existing software architectures.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript) and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems in a team setting.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time or part-time schedule for the Summer/Fall start.
