Responsibilities
- Develop & Iterate: Write high-quality, scalable code for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify and resolve software bugs, improve application performance, and optimize database queries.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Research: Explore new technologies and tools to recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Deploy: Assist in the deployment and testing of features to production environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (graduating between Dec 2024 and June 2025).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java; understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps and propose viable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Must be available for a full-time summer schedule (40 hours/week).
