Responsibilities
- Assist in Social Media Management: Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to build brand community.
- Support Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to draft blog posts, press releases, and social media captions.
- Conduct Market Research: Gather and analyze local market data in Detroit to identify trends and opportunities for our clients.
- Assist in SEO Efforts: Help optimize website content and track keyword performance using basic analytics tools.
- Event Coordination: Support the organization and execution of local networking events and company webinars.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of campaign performance and prepare weekly status reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior work experience required. We value enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn industry-standard software (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 for a minimum of 12 weeks.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required as the role is on-site in downtown Detroit.
