Responsibilities
- Assist the software engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for current projects.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Debug and resolve software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Document technical processes and contribute to the company knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work part-time (20-30 hours/week) during the summer and fall semesters.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
