Apex Dynamics is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on cutting-edge technologies, collaborating with senior engineers, and making a tangible impact on our product roadmap.
We are looking for candidates ready to start immediately for the Summer 2025 term, with a clear path to a full-time offer upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks like React or Node.js.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure software stability and performance.
- Technical Learning: Participate in code reviews, technical workshops, and agile ceremonies to continuously improve your engineering skills.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and project wikis.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and SQL is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and propose viable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to work 20-30 hours per week with the option to extend into a Fall internship.
