What you'll experience: Hands-on prototyping, collaborative workshops, networking events, and dedicated career development sessions. Work in our state-of-the-art downtown Oakland lab while exploring California's vibrant tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test sustainable energy solutions for urban environments
- Analyze environmental datasets using Python and SQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype development
- Document technical processes and create project reports
- Participate in community impact assessments for local initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Maintain project documentation using version control systems
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's program in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Basic proficiency in Python or JavaScript
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) from June-August
- Interest in sustainability and urban tech innovation
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Valid authorization to work in the US
