Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist senior engineers in designing, coding, and testing software features using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while participating in rigorous code reviews.
- Problem Solving: Debug and resolve issues in existing applications to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Agile Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user guides.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and propose improvements to current workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Academic Standing: A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (Python, Java, or Node.js).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during the Summer/Fall semester.
