Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code review meetings.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by internal teams or clients.
- Create technical documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA specialists.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in software development and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies.
- Available to work on-site in Houston, TX (or hybrid options may be considered).
