Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers and engineers to develop high-quality software solutions.
- Develop: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for web and mobile applications using modern programming languages.
- Debug: Identify and resolve software defects and bugs to ensure optimal application performance.
- Design: Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical documentation and design documents.
- Learn: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices through mentorship and training.
- Test: Assist in writing unit and integration tests to verify software functionality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++).
- Experience: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) or backend development is a plus.
- Tools: Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Attitude: Demonstrated passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Schedule: Availability to work 20-30 hours per week, with the possibility of extension into the Fall semester.
