Responsibilities
- Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Agile Process: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met effectively.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting bugs to ensure product stability and performance.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, API specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Innovation: Contribute creative ideas to process improvements and feature enhancements during hackathons or design sprints.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and experience with SQL databases.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile project management tools (Jira, Trello).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work part-time (20-30 hours per week) during the Summer/Fall semesters.
