Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems to meet business requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document technical specifications, APIs, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product management and QA) to deliver features on time.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Node.js) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Available to start either this Summer or in the Fall 2024 semester.
