Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain internal IT systems and network performance during off-peak hours.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees via remote channels.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows/Linux environment.
- Ensure data security protocols and compliance standards are strictly followed.
- Document technical solutions, create user guides, and update knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow handovers.
- Participate in nightly security audits and system updates.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a night shift environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to the Reston, VA office.
