Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Monitor server logs, network traffic, and system alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime for client operations.
- Troubleshooting Support: Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues via remote channels and on-site assistance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, resolutions, and technical documentation in our CRM systems.
- Network Maintenance: Assist in basic network configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and equipment setup.
- Security Protocols: Adhere to strict security compliance standards during night shift access and monitoring.
- Team Communication: Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand over critical tickets and ensure seamless service continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (rising Junior or Senior preferred).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) for the duration of the Summer/Fall internship.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems; basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Location: Must reside within the Baltimore, MD area (or willing to commute).
