Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
- Debug and optimize existing code to improve performance and user experience
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Create comprehensive documentation for technical specifications and user guides
- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to project challenges
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and at least one backend framework (Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during Summer/Fall semester
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic projects (GitHub preferred)
