About the Role: Apex Innovations is currently hiring for our Summer/Fall Internship program in Detroit, Michigan. We are looking for passionate students to join our Engineering team and work on projects that redefine the digital landscape. What You'll Do:
You will work alongside senior developers and architects in a collaborative environment. Your contributions will directly impact our product roadmap, from feature development to system optimization. We believe in learning by doing, and our interns are given real responsibility and ownership of their tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing systems.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and version control (Git).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
