Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and policy analysis for federal clients
- Assist in drafting briefing memos and stakeholder communications
- Track congressional hearings and committee markups
- Support event coordination for policy briefings and client meetings
- Monitor federal agency regulations and implementation timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on advocacy campaigns
- Maintain databases of congressional contacts and voting records
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university program
- Pursuing degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or related field
- Strong research and analytical writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week (June-August)
- Interest in federal government and public policy processes
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Must secure college credit approval
