Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and analysis on current policy initiatives
- Assist in preparing briefing materials and stakeholder reports
- Support event coordination for policy forums and congressional briefings
- Monitor congressional hearings and agency announcements
- Track media coverage of key policy issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on advocacy campaigns
- Maintain databases of government contacts and policy developments
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate program (any major)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Interest in government, politics, or public policy
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization required
