As a Night Shift Intern, you will support our 24/7 infrastructure, ensuring our data centers run smoothly while you contribute to the backbone of modern technology.
Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Track server performance and system logs during night shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Execute scheduled backups, software updates, and hardware checks under supervision.
- Assist with Security Protocols: Help enforce physical and digital security measures during high-traffic night periods.
- Log and Document: Accurately record operational data and troubleshooting steps in our internal systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift engineering teams to resolve overnight issues.
- Support Ticket Resolution: Assist the helpdesk team with basic technical inquiries and user support tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled or recently graduated with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (specifically 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
- Technical Interest: Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, or data center operations is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a high level of focus during night hours.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic scripting languages is preferred.
