Responsibilities
- Assist Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test software components.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and bugs in existing systems.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and technical documentation for code and processes.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to validate software functionality.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week, including some onsite presence in San Francisco.
