Responsibilities
- Support Weekend Operations: Assist the technical team in maintaining daily server health and monitoring system performance during weekend hours.
- Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve incoming technical support tickets and customer inquiries with a high degree of professionalism.
- System Documentation: Update technical documentation, logs, and inventory lists to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Data Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing user feedback data to identify trends and propose improvements for weekend services.
- Collaborative Projects: Participate in weekend sprint planning meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing IT initiatives.
- Technical Testing: Conduct quality assurance testing on software updates and new tools before deployment to the weekend user base.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or basic network troubleshooting concepts is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically under pressure.
- Tools: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ticketing systems.
