Responsibilities
- Collaborate on full-stack development projects using modern tech stack (React, Node.js, AWS)
- Participate in agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Contribute to open-source initiatives under mentorship of senior engineers
- Develop and deploy APIs to support our fintech platform
- Analyze user data to drive product improvements and feature prioritization
- Create technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited Illinois college/university pursuing Computer Science degree
- Minimum 3.2 GPA or equivalent academic standing
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java with portfolio showcasing personal projects
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Availability for full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) from May to August
- Must be able to receive academic credit through your institution
