Responsibilities
- Develop & Design: Collaborate with our engineering team to design, code, and test software solutions for web and mobile platforms.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in real-time.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to support team knowledge sharing.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- Virginia Operations Support: Assist in bridging communication gaps between the Columbus HQ and Virginia remote teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#) and familiarity with databases (SQL, MongoDB).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex systems and think critically under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit to a 12-week summer program with potential for a Fall extension.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
