Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to customers by answering inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Merchandising & Stocking: Assist in maintaining a visually appealing sales floor by stocking inventory, organizing displays, and ensuring products are readily available.
- Operational Support: Support the management team with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels, conduct regular counts, and communicate shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping the store clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a college or university program and eligible for academic credit (Junior or Senior status preferred).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during the summer months.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Age: At least 18 years of age.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
