Location: New York, NY (Hybrid/Flexible)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities for local businesses in New York.
- Assist in the on-page optimization of web content, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and local search trends.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic data using Google Analytics and Search Console to provide actionable insights.
- Support the content marketing team in drafting blog posts, social media updates, and press releases.
- Assist in managing local citations and directory listings to improve local search visibility.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute fresh ideas to ongoing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Digital Marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or web analytics tools is a plus but not required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024.
