Responsibilities
- Assist software engineers and data scientists in the design, coding, and testing of new features and applications.
- Conduct research and analysis to support ongoing technical projects and product improvements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Debug and resolve software issues, documenting all findings and solutions in our internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers, to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Create technical documentation, user manuals, and presentation decks for project updates.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Must be able to secure required college credit for this internship position.
- Strong understanding of basic programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas.
- Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours per week) during the summer months (May through August).
