Responsibilities
- Development & Maintenance: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, code, and debug software solutions using modern technologies.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and perform functional testing to identify and resolve software defects.
- Documentation: Create clear technical documentation and API specs to support team knowledge sharing.
- Innovation: Research and propose new tools or methodologies to improve team efficiency and code quality.
- Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving client-facing technical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript) and a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL and database management concepts.
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git) and IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time during the summer and transition into a full-time role in the fall.
