Responsibilities
- Collaborate on Development: Assist the engineering team in designing, developing, and testing software solutions and web applications.
- Code Maintenance: Review existing codebases to identify optimization opportunities and fix bugs or issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs and user manuals, to ensure project clarity.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the testing process, including unit testing and regression testing, to ensure product stability.
- Team Communication: Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned with project goals and team progress.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on new technologies, tools, and industry trends to propose improvements to current workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic Standing: Must be able to provide proof of enrollment and arrange for college credit for this internship position.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Python is preferred. Basic knowledge of database management is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer months.
