Responsibilities
- Software Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, code, and test software applications using modern technologies.
- Project Support: Assist in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, documentation, and deployment.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and security standards are met.
- Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Work in an Agile environment, attending daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise technical documentation for internal processes and external deliverables.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic Standing: Must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer internship (June - August).
