Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy microservices using Python and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Contribute to open-source projects under senior engineer guidance
- Write production-ready code with comprehensive documentation
- Participate in agile sprint planning and stand-up ceremonies
- Debug and optimize application performance using modern tooling
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams
- Maintain code quality through peer reviews and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithm knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during summer term
- Previous internship or academic project experience preferred
