Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing security protocols for enterprise systems
- Analyze threat intelligence data and contribute to incident response reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on penetration testing exercises
- Document security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
- Shadow senior engineers during client consultations
- Contribute to open-source security projects
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3.0+ GPA preferred
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and security frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with Linux/Windows operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during summer/fall term
