Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications using modern technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, and engineering) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Create technical documentation, API specs, and system architecture diagrams.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Engage in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to track progress and roadblocks.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) or backend languages (Python, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Available to commit 20-40 hours per week during the Summer/Fall term.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database management systems is a plus.
