Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by internal teams or clients.
- Assist in the design and implementation of unit tests to ensure software reliability.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer internship (May - August).
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
