Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Assist the weekend engineering team in troubleshooting software issues and maintaining system stability for clients.
- Project Assistance: Contribute to ongoing software development projects by writing clean code and performing code reviews under supervision.
- Data Management: Organize and analyze weekend operational data to identify trends and prepare performance reports.
- Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding weekend deliverables.
- System Monitoring: Oversee system health metrics and proactively address minor alerts to prevent downtime.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials to ensure knowledge retention.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Summer/Fall 2024 start).
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic understanding of SQL or Python.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
