Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts via SIEM platforms during night shifts
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing exercises
- Document incident reports and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence analysis
- Assist with firewall configuration and network security audits
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Contribute to security awareness training materials
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license (required for occasional client site visits)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
