Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist in drafting and editing blog posts, social media captions, and marketing materials.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to support strategic planning.
- Social Media Management: Monitor social media channels and engage with the online community.
- Data Analysis: Track campaign performance and prepare weekly reports for the marketing team.
- Event Support: Help coordinate and execute local marketing events and promotional activities.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain project files and assist with general office operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Availability: Able to work part-time (20-25 hours per week) with availability during Summer/Fall months.
- Skills: Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Location: Must reside in or near Jacksonville, IL.
