What You Will Do
In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for assisting the night operations team in various capacities. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time logistics dashboards and alert management to any anomalies or delays.
- Assist in processing incoming customer orders and resolving inquiries during evening hours.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of daily operations and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless handoffs between day and night shifts.
- Conduct routine quality checks on shipped and received packages.
- Document operational procedures and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Support the training of new temporary staff members on night shift protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel between our Arlington, TX and Washington DC facilities as needed.
