Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server/network systems during overnight hours
- Provide Tier-1 technical support for hardware/software issues
- Document incident reports and system performance metrics
- Assist with cybersecurity protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades
- Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery tests
- Participate in after-hours maintenance windows
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science, IT, or related degree
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and Windows/Linux systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
- Available for full-time summer commitment (May-August)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
