Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise network security systems and respond to alerts during overnight shifts
- Document incident reports and security events using SIEM platforms
- Perform routine system patching and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-functional IT projects
- Conduct server health checks and preventative maintenance tasks
- Participate in emergency drills and simulated threat scenarios
- Update documentation for IT infrastructure and security policies
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Available for 3+ months, 4 nights/week schedule
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) a plus
