Responsibilities
- Code Support: Assist the engineering team in writing clean, efficient, and scalable code for our core web applications.
- Research & Development: Conduct research on emerging technologies, APIs, and industry trends to support project goals and innovation.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API guides, and user manuals to ensure smooth team collaboration.
- Testing: Participate in quality assurance processes, including unit testing and debugging to ensure high software stability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate technical requirements into functional features.
- Meeting Participation: Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to stay aligned with project milestones.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Tools: Proficiency with version control systems like Git and basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time (20-25 hours per week) starting Summer 2024 and continuing through Fall.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn from senior developers and contribute to a high-performing team.
