Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of scalable web applications and mobile solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance and user experience.
- Conduct research and implement new technologies to improve existing systems and workflows.
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions to contribute to agile development cycles.
- Create technical documentation for new features and system updates.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js) is a strong plus.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the summer program.
