Role Overview:
We are looking for a curious and tech-savvy individual who wants to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior engineers and product managers to design, develop, and test software applications.
- Code: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Debug: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
- Document: Create technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals to ensure project clarity.
- Test: Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance processes.
- Learn: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Skill Set: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and databases (SQL).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer months.
