Responsibilities
- Develop and test software features using Java/Python in cloud-native environments
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and Jira
- Debug and optimize existing systems with senior engineer guidance
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects during hackathons
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Git, REST APIs, and SQL databases
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Portfolio with 2+ personal or academic projects
- Ability to work 20-40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
